Yes — aside from some virtual assistants who help me with admin + research tasks, I don’t outsource anything in my copywriting business. This is my rep on the line, so I work directly with my clients to ensure they get the service and results as offered here.

I aim to deliver your landing page within 4 weeks of our kick-off call. But this will depend on how quickly you are at supplying the information and feedback at every stage.

Yes — every dime. After 6 years in the game, I know what motivates me to get laser-focused and do my best work. If I have to continue negotiating with other clients or chase up invoices later, that’s time away from helping my clients hit their goals.

Hold your horses, kemosabe. I’m usually booked 2-4 weeks in advance. Also, we need to make sure we’re a good fit first — that’s what the 20-minute intro call is all about. After that, we can set a timeline and get moving.

Highly unlikely, I’m booked 2-3 weeks out, and other clients may be ahead of you on the waitlist.

Even if I was free, I would strongly advise against rushed writing. Did you not see the end of Game of Thrones?!

If you absolutely must have your copy ASAP, I might be able to help if I reshuffle my schedule, delay some other clients, and burn the midnight oil while my partner soldiers on with our baby. However, in this case, you can expect a 50% rush fee to compensate for the inconvenience (and cost of apology bath bombs and chocolates).

We kick off with a comprehensive 90-minute consultation on Zoom to drill-down into your business, brand identity, service offers, audience, and market.

I have about 30 questions, plus a few activities to help us nail the key aspects of your offer and positioning.

The main goals are to identify the pain points of your audience, and the unique value proposition of your offer. If it’s more convenient for you, we can split this longer call into two shorter workshops.

As of May 2024, no. Maybe someday it will happen and I will adjust my advertised rates accordingly. But you shouldn’t worry, as you pay in advance. So, you will always be guaranteed the rate you booked at without any surprise closing invoice.

Sure  —  but remember availability is first come, first served. If we’re a fit and agree to move forward on the Intro call, I’ll send you a contract and payment link before the Discovery Workshop. Once you pay, you’ve secured my time and expertise for your project.

Ideally, everyone on the call will bring valuable insights about the product, offer, or the ICP. For example, you could have the product designer, the product marketing manager, or the customer support manager. But we want to avoid a crowded call where people without experience in copywriting and conversion strategy are sticking their oar in our pot. Choose wisely.

The price advertised includes two full rounds of revisions.

It’s rare that we need more, and highly unlikely that I’ll be far off the mark with a first draft because we’ll have hashed out a clear scope before starting.

But even if we still need some minor tweaks at the end, it’s just a matter of collaborative feedback to nail the final draft.

I write copy based on proven principles in direct response copywriting, buyer psychology, conversion strategy, and sales storytelling. The goal is to convert your ideal customers — not you. Of course, if you like the copy, that’s a bonus. 

With that in mind, on the first draft, I provide multiple copy options for headers, CTAs, and shorter page elements. This approach helps us collaborate to find messaging that you approve while also ensuring we finish with a landing page that is primed for high conversions. Win-win.

During the draft stages, I send Google Docs for you to review and provide feedback. After we finalize the copy, I send clean versions with the wireframe in Google Docs and Figma, making it easy for your designer or developer to launch the page. 

Before you can persuade someone to buy, you need them to know, like, and trust you. The best way to do that is with relatable messaging that speaks about their pain points, objections, desires, and dreams in the same way they do. Raw, gritty, and unfiltered. Many offer owners skip this step — which is like leaving money on the table, and then using more money to set the table on fire.

The best way to gather voice of the customer is through interviews and surveys. I can organize and run these, or you can help me set things up with your customers. Beyond that, I’ll mine through forums, social media groups, and review websites to find real conversations about your market problems.
